From the founder

Home is more than a place. It’s where comfort and dignity live.

I’m Krish Posa, founder of KushAlaya. I want us to act before something goes wrong — not only after.

I want to help prevent falls and give every older adult the support and tools to live independently, with dignity, in the comfort of their own home.

What we stand for

The promises KushAlaya is built on

Four commitments every family can hold us to — on the first visit and every one after.

Act before something goes wrong

Prevention first: a scored home assessment and a check on every visit, so a fall is avoided rather than reported.

Dignity is not optional

Nothing is done to an elder that they have not agreed to. Options are explained in plain language, at their pace.

One team, fully accountable

Assessment, installation and ongoing care from one team — not a box left at the door and a number to call.

The family always knows

Photos, notes and the KushLife trend after every visit, for every member of the family, wherever they live.

A sunlit verandah with a rattan chair and a cup of tea — the home a family wants their parents to keep

The vision

Ageing at home, safely, on their own terms

Most parents want to stay in the home they built. The vision is simple: make that possible for longer — by fixing what makes a home risky, and by noticing the small changes in how someone is living before they become an emergency.

That second part is KushLife: every visit, we assess the “kush”ness.

  • Safe — Hazards, lighting, grab bars, footwear — anything that raises fall risk since the last visit.
  • Steady — Walking, balance, sit-to-stand, and how confidently they move around their own home.
  • Settled — Sleep, meals, medicines, mood and routine — the quiet signs that daily life is going well.
  • Connected — What they want the family to know, and what the family asked us to look at — closed in the portal.
